Are you looking to break into the world of trading without breaking the bank? Well, Just2Trade might be the best way to go. When it comes to value brokers, not many can really compete with the low costs of Just2Trade. And, on the surface, it is really simple to see the point, especially if you visit their homepage. Every buzzword you are looking for is right there. And they do come through when it comes to pricing. So, let’s dive right in and take it apart section by section.

Just2Trade Fees and Commissions

We are definitely going to start off with the best part about this service – fees and commissions. This service represents the pinnacle of “value” trading. Everything is refreshingly straightforward and there aren’t any tricks to get you to spend more money. Every stock trade that is above 1 dollar will cost you 2.5 dollars. The option trades will cost the same, with an addition of 50 cents per contract.Just2Trade BrokerJust2Trade Broker

So, if you are new to the scene and are still relatively casual, this is definitely a great offer. Just think about it – most famous companies will charge double the amount per trade. And option trades go for a lot more than that. So, if you are not looking for a wide array of features, and are looking for trading alone, this will work for you.

You also receive 15 minutes of real time streaming every day for free, unless, of course, you choose to purchase their advanced package, which costs only 8 dollars.

Platforms and Features

If you go with Just2Trade you will notice multiple platforms. The main one, and the one we are covering today is their free online platform Just2Trade+. Of course, the platform itself is not as potent as something you could get elsewhere. But remember the two important things here: It is free to use, and the trades are 2.5 dollars.

Also, while it doesn’t have as many features as some of the expensive platforms out there, you might still find the number to be overwhelming for a newbie. The platform comes with all of the basics you require to start trading. You will have the option to use watchlists, options chains, charts, and the order ticket window.Just2Trade Broker Platform

We also appreciate the fact that it ran with no issues in our browser. So, as long as you have a stable internet connection, you are good to go. The charting, while basic, offers some very useful features. The bars are very clean and easy to navigate and you have 92 indicators and 11 drawing tools to use.

On the other hand, if you want to go through the market as an options trader, you can open a simple option chain. The chain comes with all five Greeks, twenty-two optional columns, and instant analytic tools that will help you check your charts while trading.

Just bear in mind that this is still a very basic trading platform. As you progress your career, you will start noticing various limitations. For an example, you can’t use stock alerts on it. As you gain experience, you might also want to set some hotkeys, which the platform doesn’t support. Not to mention that advanced orders are also not supported.

Research Tools

This is the weak spot of the platform. While they did give us certain options to do our research, they are not as potent as we would like them to be. This, again, makes sense for a free-to-use platform. However, they are not as bad as we thought it would be. As soon as you open the “Trading Assistance” option, you will see a huge amount of information about IBM. You will see graphs, analysis, breakdowns, and basic information on the company you research. However, if you try to research anything other than stocks from major exchanges you will notice that they are not available, so, no research for those who want to pull up ETFs or mutual funds. And lastly, there are no screening tools for you to use, at all.

Mobile Apps

We definitely like the fact that you have an app for both Apple and Android phones. However, as with other features, there are serious limitations to your options. You can only use the app to place simple orders and view quotes, basic watch lists, and options chains. However, if you don’t plan on relying on your phone too often, the application will cover your basic needs.

Just2Trade Verdict

While the Just2Trade service definitely gives you the feeling that it lacks options it is still unbeatable in terms of value. As a new investor, the service will give you everything you require to start trading. And, we do understand that something has to suffer due to incredibly low costs. However, the free platform with the lowest possible fees definitely does seem to be like a good idea.
